01Acceptance
By inviting or using the PC & Electronic Basics Discord bot (the "Bot") you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot. If you add the Bot to a Discord server, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
02Service Description
The Bot provides these features to Discord servers: a channel counting game, logging of edited and deleted messages, and the slash commands /ping, /server, /user, /report and /data. The Bot does not use artificial intelligence or large language models to process your messages.
03Message Content
The Bot reads message content only to run the features above, and it does not store it. In a counting channel it re-posts the counted number through a webhook under the counting member's own display name and avatar, and deletes the original message. Where a server administrator has enabled logging, it forwards the author, the channel and the message text before and after an edit or a deletion to the log channel that server chose. How that data is handled, and how to have it removed, is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
04Service Provision
The Bot is hosted and operated by a single maintainer, at their discretion. There is no guarantee of uptime or availability. The Bot may be changed, interrupted or taken offline at any time.
05Proprietary Software
The Bot is proprietary, closed-source software. All rights are reserved. Copying, modifying, distributing, reverse-engineering or self-hosting the Bot is not permitted. Details are in the project licence.
06Disclaimer
The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The maintainer does not warrant that the Bot will be error-free or uninterrupted.
07Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any indirect or direct damage, loss of data or profit arising from the use of the Bot. How data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
08Modifications
These Terms may be updated at any time. The date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
09Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated at any time, without notice, including in the case of a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server.
